CASA BIANCA'S GUEST BOOK
CASA BIANCA HOLIDAY APARTMENT
|
Here we are again, staying in this lovely, pristine apartment. We have enjoyed the many delights of this most spectacular area, including the Adriatic coast and the Gran Sasso National Park. Thank you again Tracey and Pete, for a beautiful and relaxing environment in which to stay. We look forward to our next visit.
Stan and Judy, Cheshire.

This holiday has been the most wonderful oneI've ever had, thank you. I don't think I would want to go anywhere else on holiday. We will keep in touch.

This is the perfect base for holidays in Abruzzo - a bit off the beaten track, with outstanding mountain views but also very close to the sea and very accessible.
The apartment is spotlessly clean with great facilities and the owners are very keen to provide any help they can. They weren't at all fazed when I managed to lock myself out with the key on the inside!
The apartment is perfect when searching for property in the area and we used it for this and stayed there again when work was being carried out on the property we bought. We have been very lucky to find the owners who also help us with our own property, keeping an eye on it and carrying out all manner of tasks that have needed doing - painting, shopping, airport pickups, sorting out local bills - the list goes on.
A fantastic find! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it.

Dear Tracey and Pete,
Thank you so much for giving us such a warm welcome and hugely enjoyable stay in Casa Bianca. We could not have found a more comfortable home, or nicer company, and Tracey has been very helpful in our search for a holiday home. Kai, our cocker spaniel, settled in from the word ‘go’.
We have got to know Abruzzo very much better in the weeks we’ve been here, found wonderful restaurants and had bracing walks on the beach. Life will never be the same back in the UK!
We will certainly be back to see you and hope we can keep in touch, thank you both,
Vicki and David (and Kai), Berkhamsted

We drove down from Venice and what a contrast! Abruzzo was rural, quiet and beautiful and our accommodation at Casa Bianca all that we sought in our base for the week. Our hosts welcomed us to share their immaculate house with outstanding vistas of the local hill-top villages and the distant mountains.
We enjoyed picking fresh vegetables in the garden, the sunshine, and the fine welcome in the Agriturismo just down the hill in the village. The local shops were welcoming, and the butcher's at the bottom of the hill - benissimo!
Casa Bianca was a great base for exploring the very individual and spectacular hill villages, walking in the National Parks and enjoying the Adriatic beach.
From here we went on to Nemi in Lazio for a third contrasting week, focussing on Roman antiquities - but we did not find the tranquillity of Casa Bianca.

Dear Tracey and Pete,
Thanks again for making us so welcome and for providing a so comfortable base for us to move into our new home. We cannot thank you enough for all that you have done for us in enabling us to purchase a fantastic house - both of you are just brilliant!! With love,

The accommodation was better than expected, the photos didn't do it justice! Everything in the apartment was very clean, brightly decorated and furnished with lots of reading materials to browse, a well equipped kitchen and clothes washing facilities. The adjoining farm was of great interest to the kids. The location in the Italian countryside, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and fields of sunflowers was a great experience for all the family. Daily trips to the many beaches along the coast as well as to all the surrounding villages. A trip to the mountains, Gran Sasso and L'Aquila was easily achieved in a day trip. Excellent cusine and wine was enjoyed in local restaurants at a very reasonable cost. Tracey and Pete were very helpful and friendly with lots of info on the area in a very informative folder, with tourist leaflets available in the apartment. We would recommend this accommodation highly for anyone seeking the "Italian Experience"!

Dear Tracey and Pete,
Everything has been perfect and we don't want to go home, but we will soon be back! The apartment is well-equipped and spacious, has everything you would need, including a supply of DVDs and books. This is an excellent base to enjoy Abruzzo. Your help and advice have been invaluable. Whether booking us a table or supplying maps, it is so nice to have help at hand when you don't speak the language, our very best wishes, see you soon.

Dear Tracey and Pete,
Thank you very much for another wonderful week here at Casa Bianca. As you know this is our third stay in less than twelve months and we are hoping to visit again in October. We always have such a wonderful time, the week always goes too quickly. We never worry when we are here, as we know the boys can wander off and explore and they will be fine, which helps us to have a relaxing holiday. Even though this stay in July has been very hot, we have managed to stay cool by sampling the local ice creams and going to the fantastic safe, clean beaches at Silvi and Pineto.

Casa Bianca has proved to be an excellent, well-equipped and peaceful setting for our first visit to Abruzzo, and our welcome by Tracey and Pete was just what we needed after a stressful drive down from Venice. Thank you to Tracey and Pete for an excellent week of our holiday: the flat provided us with all we could have desired.

From the moment Tracey greeted us at Casa Bianca, this was a perfect holiday. The accommodation is excellent – clean, tasteful and comfortable – the kitchen is superb! The house location with its views across hills towards the mountains is breathtaking. At sunset it is like a Renaissance painting – awe-inspiring. Being Italy, there are endless things to do, walking around the towns with their medieval architecture is fascinating (try Penne) and, of course, art treasures are everywhere. On one day, we swam in the warm sea at Pineto in the morning and took the cable car to 8000 feet on the Gran Sasso in the afternoon. The food is very good and prices everywhere much cheaper than Britain. Try ‘Il Gallo’ – we had several courses, with coffee and wine, for only 32 euros for 3 people. The quality and service was super. We ate fruit and vegetables from the garden and Tracey and Pete were warm and friendly hosts. I cannot recommend Casa Bianca too highly and, of course, the sun never stops shining.

Dear Tracey and Peter,
Making the reservation for this ‘Bella Casa’ was a breeze. I felt comfortable from day number 1. Thank you so much for your great hospitality; we had a marvellous time. You are a source of excellent information and your assistance made Abruzzo the high point of our trip throughout Italy. Your directions were excellent and so is your guidebook. It made everything we did much more enjoyable. This place and this part of Italy are absolutely spectacular. This was a great experience.

Lovely pristine apartment with perfect hosts in a spectacular area of the Abruzzo. Numerous restaurants at very reasonable prices and such friendly people. Plenty to do from energetic walks to local rambles, sightseeing, trips to the beaches which are ideal for children or just soaking up the sun in a very peaceful environment. Wonderful area, delightful apartment and delicious food - what more can you ask from a holiday? We are returning in June and can't wait!

Dear Tracey and Pete,
We have had a wonderful week in this beautiful setting. The accommodation is fantastic, well-equipped and comfortable – everything we needed.
The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and it seems that it changes around every turn in the road. We particularly enjoyed our trip to the Gran Sasso and hope that our cameras do it some justice!
Thank you so much for the free produce! We have eaten so many tomatoes and figs, the latter being out of this world.
We would love to return, perhaps in another season, and do some walking.
Many thanks for your hospitality, restaurant recommendations and directions,
All the best

Dear Tracey and Pete,
We cannot fault the accommodation, - very clean, comfortable beds, with a feel of homeliness, which made our holiday so relaxing. What scenery!! ‘Wow’ factor definitely. It was great to be able to pick home grown produce, our cooking tasted so much better! The local people made us feel very welcome and were so helpful with directions when we got lost!
Arrividerci to Tracey, Pete, and all the local people who made our holiday unforgettable. We’ll be back,

To Tracey and Pete,
We have been staying at self catering places for quite a few years and this is one of the best. You organised perfect weather and the cherries to ripen at the right time. Thank you.

We had a wonderfully relaxing time at this apartment. It is spacious and comfortable with beautiful views. Would recommend to anyone wanting an away from it all holiday or short break. It is close to the coast, mountains, city and shops for your convenience and only a 2 hour flight from UK.

Wefound Abruzzo to be a beautiful place, still steeped in rural farming, sandwiched between the mountains and the sea. Casa Bianca is the ideal base, central to sea, mountains and indeed the whole of Abruzzo. Spotlesslyclean, very spacious and every comfort to return to at the end of the day. A very big thank you to Traceyand Peter for sharing their wonderful house, our apartment was beautiful and you provided invaluable help - nothing was too much bother.

FOR PROPERTY SEARCH AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES
With our 2 very young children, we have stayed at Casa Bianca on 2 occasions while securing the purchase of our wonderful holiday home. The accommodation in Casa Bianca is of a very high standard, and the location is ideally situated to explore the mountains, towns and coast of this beautiful area.
Tracey, who has links with a reliable Abruzzo estate agent through whom we purchased our property, was so incredibly helpful in guiding us through the bureacracy of Italian property purchase: in her safe hands, we didn't encounter any problems, and it all seemed straightforward. And now she is providing an excellent property management service: totally flexible, reliable, and not expensive: it just takes away all those little worries that you inevitably have when you're not actually there. It is so useful when someone knows a trustworthy builder, plumber or carpenter. We consider ourselves so fortunate.
We find few people in the UK have even heard of Abruzzo, let alone know where it is in Italy! It is simply glorious, it is "real" Italy, still (thank goodness) undeveloped, un-touristy and cheap. If you have children, like us, they are loved and spoiled. Go to Abruzzo, and see for yourselves! Tracey and Pete will give you the warmest welcome.

Dear Tracey and Pete,
We cannot thank you enough for all the help you have given us in becoming Italian real estate owners! That lovely house is something one only dreams of!

Tracey & Pete are our key holders, and have been invaluable. Not only preparing for and meeting guests, but also arranging for tradesmen to carry out maintenance and repairs. They have been a great help in paying bills for us, which requires an understanding of the language that we do not have. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to other property owners in the area

Tracey, you have been so very helpful with looking for a holiday place for us to buy. Without your help and translating there is no way we could have done it. We are very grateful, very many thanks.

I can't imagine what it would be like if we didn't have you to monitor progress - we'd be totally in the dark. Many thanks for all your help.
