This lovely family home is situated in the picturesque medieval village of Appignano. Originally an old flour mill, the house was substantially renovated in 2011 by the current owners.

Appignano is well situated for both the coast and the Apennine Mountains. The local market towns of Bisenti and Castiglione Messer Raimondo, both about 6 km distant, have supermarkets, restaurants, chemists, banks, and most other necessary facilities. Pescara, on the coast and a 45-minute car journey away, is a bustling, modern city and port, and the airport has flights to several European destinations. There are good local schools for all age ranges.
Appignano is a wonderful village to live in both as a resident or as a holiday homeowner. The property is a very short distance from the friendly village bar: a hub of social life, where you can eat excellent pizzas as well as enjoying a range of local wines and refreshing Italian beers.
